MUSEUM LABEL Object: One Working Day, Recovered Origin: open-plan office, 17 September Materials: cold tea, a laminated floor plan, a handshake held two seconds too long, a hand-lettered sign, forty slides nobody finished reading, one printer that finally said no Provenance: passed hand to hand through six rooms that turn out, on closer inspection, to be the same room Condition: fair — creased at the edges where the evening ran long Curator's note: the same man appears in every scene, same tie, same stance. We cannot agree whether this is repetition, or simply the only figure who stayed for the whole thing.
