You'll be fine. And it just like last week you two were much better to each other actually. Like you were playing some games together and that was a good a good bit. Just more of that. That's what we need.
Recipe for a Sidekick
Ingredients:
1 cafe, emptied of all but hum
4 meetings, diced into unequal blocks
1 crimson urgency, kept whole
A handful of geometric conversations, loosely packed
Wellington cloud to taste
Method:
Arrange the meetings in descending order of weight.
Do not stir. Let each settle into its own density.
Thread the conversations through like copper wire—
if they resist, heat gently with coffee.
At the centre, begin the concentric work:
place the smallest gear first,
then the next, then the next,
each ring clicking into the last
until the whole mechanism holds.
Add the cloud. It will find its own way in.
Leave the crimson rectangle for last.
It will pulse whether you attend to it or not.
Serve warm. Serves one,
but is built to multiply.
