INTERCHANGE STUDY NO. 7 (DUSK, WET) Long-lens aerial photograph, silver-halide grain simulated digitally. Five lanes, one ring, one amber lobby-glow mistaken by commuters for welcome. Lane one: sedans, nose to tail, patient as cutlery. Lane two: a handoff mid-road, ministry tape sliced by the frame's left edge. Lane three: cyclists arriving loose and unbothered, a pannier cropped at the right. Lane four: the long column feeding straight into the light. Accession note: one magenta flare, lower rim, barely a thumbprint on the wet asphalt — the only warm color permitted into the collection. Provenance unrecorded. The caller went back to work before the photograph was taken.
