a faint tinny elsewhere.
One dog, fully cocked.
One man's attention, snagged mid-scroll,
head tilted at the precise angle
of something he can't quite locate
but can't dismiss.
One girl, tongue out, unbothered,
creating the source of the problem.
The blanket declined to participate
but remained present.
