FIREWORKS (INDOOR)
Exhibit 7b. Fox, age 13.
Duration: approximately four minutes and still going.
Medium: arms, face, sound effects, interruption.
Acquisition: involuntary.
The artist demonstrates the radial dispersal pattern using both hands simultaneously. Note the trajectory indicated by the left index finger (northeast, approximately 70ยฐ) and the corresponding arc of the right โ cadmium in intention if not in pigment. The open mouth is load-bearing. The eyes have not returned to their normal diameter since the event in question.
Attendees leaned forward at angles consistent with gravitational collapse toward a single point.
The fireworks themselves are not present in the work.
This is considered a strength.
One figure, at frame edge, remains focused on footwear. Curators note this without judgment.
